Xinye Chen

I'm a third-year Ph.D. student in Applied Mathematics (Numerical Analysis) in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Manchester and a member of the Numerical Linear Algebra group (NLA group) at The University of Manchester, supervised by Prof. Stefan Güttel and co-supervised by Prof. Nick Higham. My research interests include the Krylov subspace and machine learning problems (such as manifold learning and spectral graph network, etc) arisen from mathematics, with a particular interest in the application of accelerated matrix computation. I am currently working on topics in graph representation learning and pattern recognition. To learn more about my academic research, you can visit my academic profile. For my full publication, you can visit my Google Scholar. In my spare time, I enjoy programming, course teaching and reading Japanese Manga.
